South West Arts	Cirencester Band	Cotswold District Council

The Band promotes the playing, understanding, presentation and appreciation of traditional and new Brass Band music by the provision of instruments, uniforms and weekly training for both established players and beginners across a wide age range. We perform throughout the year at various events and venues enabling the general public to hear us at a concert or as a passer-by at a village fête. We participate in the local and national brass band associations and are working with other bands in the immediate area. We have a well-established “twinning” with a band in the Cirencester twin town in Germany. What we do: Performances by the Band in local concert halls, on park bandstands, for church services, parades, at fêtes, village & country fairs, steam fairs, homes for the elderly, carnival processions and Christmas events. A total of 30 or more engagements per year.
